Our Gifted Hearts is a dark book about a woman facing the tragic loss of her child who was stillborn. This occurs in the prologue and was one of the most difficult parts of the book to write. However, there are many dark themes and events so here is a list:
- Still birth
- Miscarriage
- Pregnancy
- Decapitation (in a dream)
- Animal death / Animal cruelty
- Cannibalism
- Murder
